Mr. Veal focuses his practice on premises liability and personal injury cases. As a felony criminal prosecutor for nearly a decade in Winder, Athens, Atlanta, and Decatur, Mr. Veal gained extensive litigation and trial experience. Mr. Veal has litigated multi-defendant and complex gang and white-collar criminal cases from their investigative inceptions through verdicts. Mr. Veal ended his prosecutorial career after becoming the lead prosecutor of the Stone Mountain Judicial Circuit’s gang unit where he and his unit were awarded the “Special Unit of the Year” for achievement and performance. Based upon his reputation and success as a prosecutor, Mr. Veal taught continuing legal education seminars to other attorneys. Mr. Veal has also authored and filed several appellate briefs with the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia. After leaving prosecution, Mr. Veal worked for a national civil defense firm where his primary practices involved general liability, professional malpractice, and civil rights defense. Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan, Mr. Veal was an attorney for the Department of Homeland Security-Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
