Description
David Byron is a seasoned trial attorney based in Gainesville, Florida, where he has lived since 2006. A proud Double Gator, David earned both his undergraduate and law degrees with honors from the University of Florida. While in law school, he served as Editor of the Journal of International Law.
David began his legal career in 2013 as an Assistant State Attorney in the Eighth Judicial Circuit, trying numerous jury cases and later serving in the Special Victims Unit, where he prosecuted serious offenses including sexual battery and homicide. In 2020, he became an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Florida, handling complex federal cases involving child exploitation, cybercrime, RICO, and national security.
With over 45 jury trials to his name, David brings a wealth of courtroom experience to Morgan & Morgan, where he is dedicated to building trust with clients and achieving justice through skilled advocacy. He lives in Gainesville with his wife, a plant pathologist at UF, and their daughter.
